This is a pair of beautiful Chinese famille rose porcelain vases in a squat Meiping shape and finely painted with trailing peonies against pale celadon background, second half 20th century. There are no marks apart from the no 46 painted on the base of one vase and 108 painted on the other.

Dimensions: They are quite large and heavy vases. Width at widest 26.5 cm, Height 19cm
Weight: 2.208 and 2.198 kg

Condition: In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There are slight distortions in the porcelain bodies and variations in the decoration from one to the other indicative of being hand-made.
