Pair of Chinese pot stands
A pair of late 19th century Chinese hardwood circular pot stands or low antique tables with marble inset top.
This pair of stands consist of shaped Chinese rouge marble tops, these being recessed into the top surrounded by ball bead carving.
This leads down to a deep moulding with a carved and pierced frieze below with intricate foliage carving leading to the top corners of the legs.
The top of the legs consist of a carved face of an open-mouthed dragon leading down to foliage carved decoration, the stands supported on cabriole legs leading down to ball and claw feet.
This pair of pot stands are in excellent condition, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home - these are very versatile pieces and could be used as stands, low tables etc.
