This is a beautiful pair of Chinese porcelain parrots in a delightful blue glaze which date from the mid 19th century. The parrots are perched upon knotted tree stumps and have hardwood stands. Both parrots are in very good condition. There is a small stable hairline crack to the inside of the base of one which looks like it probably happened in manufacture firing. The blue glaze is perfect to both with lovely antique craquelure and a delightful patina.
The ornaments come with a later custom made case and shipping document .
These stand 28.5 cms tall including the stands.
