Pair of Brass & Iron Stools c.1890. %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fabulous pair of late 19th.c. iron and brass stools c.1890. Curving X framed stools in iron topped with unusual oversized brass pommels. Sling seats (with a wire interior) in vintage burgundy and green velvet covers with long tassel braid around each edge. Decorative brass roundels at the cross points of the frame, repeated on the rear and inside and raised on heavy gauge turned brass feet. Some old marks to the upholstery and minor wear to the braid. Generally excellent original condition.
