Pair of Blue & White Spode Plates
A very desirable pair of Regency period blue and white plates. This attractive pair of Spode plates have the imprest mark 'Spode 28' and 'Spode, Death of the Bear' in capitals. The central hunting scene is surrounded by a dramatic border of birds, tigers and wild boar in a rocky landscape. The condition of both plates is excellent and the colour a good mid blue. A beautiful pair of plates to display in a cabinet or dresser.
