An unusual pair of 19th Century figured mahogany console, tea or card tables. The revolving tops open to polished interiors with cross banded edging. Below are inset friezes leading to octagonal columns with applied acanthus collars joining the circular platform bases which are raised on out-swept legs with further acanthus carving and lion’s paw feet with casters below.
