A beautiful pair of antique landscape oil paintings by J. C Jonas. They were made in England, they date from around 1880-1900.

The paintings are beautifully executed, depicting a countryside lake scene, it appears to be two sides of the same lake at different times of day. They are nicely mounted in high quality gilt wood frames.

The condition is excellent for their age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there to the paintings. The gilt wood frames have some surface wear and a few minor chips here and there, seen in the images.
