Pair of 18th Century Framed Classical Prints

Pair of 18th classical stipple engravings by Thomas Fielding after Angelica Kaufman, in round gilt frames. One shows Theseus Finding His Fathers Sword and Sandals the other is The Death of Procris. The prints were probably trimmed to the print line and re-framed in smaller attractive gilt frames in the early 19th century. The trimmed printed information has been pasted to the reverse of the frames, one reads "This Plate from an Original Picture by Angelica Kaufman, Dedicated to Godfrey Thornton Esq by his much obliged and obedient servant Thomas Fielding". The frames have their original gilding with expected wear to the surface. The prints are in good condition with only very minor age spots and have excellent colour.
