A superb pair of 18th Century Chinese Swatow dishes, decorated in dark pigment in the typical oriental style with officials and attendants within a border of blossoms and bamboo. The dishes have flared upright sides and the interior well is of a domed shape. There is a firing crack to the underside of one dish,(this can be seen in the photos) otherwise the dishes are presented in excellent condition.
