Pair Bow Porcelain Bocage Figures New Dancers
A fine pair of Bow bocage figures of the "New Dancers", c.1765, set on ornate scrolled bases trimmed in turquoise enamel and gilt and covered in individual leaves and flowers.
Reference: 18th Century English Porcelain Figures, Bradshaw, page 154 and plate 66.
They measure 23cm (9") high, 19cm (7 1/2") wide and 9.5cm (3 3/4") deep.
Condition is very good with just a few small areas of very good quality professional restoration: to the girl's left hand, the boy's left hand and forefinger of his right hand and to a scroll on each base. Minor chips to the bocages as usual, slightly more so to the right side of the girl as you can see.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
