This is a lovely pair of Art Deco hand painted. highly glazed, China Bookends, which feature two Chinese Girls dressed in black trousers, long red jackets, black close fitting hats and long black pigtails. They are standing on tiptoe on two books and leaning on another two. They are very cute and redolent of the Art Deco period.

Condition: Very good. There is no damage or chips and the paintwork is in very good condition.
