A pair of stunning antique Regency side chairs in mahogany with inlay. The backsplats have central lozenges with inlay- most likely ebony and boxwood. The sides and supports are decorated with deep reeding and the elegantly tapered legs joined by a central cross stretcher. They have been newly recovered over the existing upholstery in a turquoise and cream embroidered chenille fabric. Solid and sturdy and recently fully restored.

Solid and sturdy. Newly recovered over existing upholstery. Wear and marks commensurate with age. It appears to have been stripped and French polished fairly recently. It has had new replacement seat rails.
