Superb pair of late 19th.c. Italian marble top bedside cabinets c.1875. Matching grey marble tops over a small drawer and cupboard with shelf. A true pair with left and right hand opening doors. Beautiful satin birch veneers across the front and sides overlaid with mahogany fretwork detail to the drawer, door fronts and plinths. Turned drawer knobs partially recessed into the drawer fronts. Mahogany edge mouldings and applied half depth turnings to the upper front corners. Solid mahogany ground work to the drawer fronts and mahogany drawer linings. Stamped Rubino for the firm of Giacomo Rubino of Genoa. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Drawer key supplied.
