We are selling this quality pair of 19th Century Meissen Doves on gilt bronze bases. One dove is a browny colour with feathers closed and the other is a purple/brown colour with feathers open to the top.

Good condition, here are a couple of firing cracks and the bird with his feathers open has at one time had a filling to a firing crack (as shown in photo). Each bird has the crossed sword mark on the base.

Measuring 11 inches in height, with base diameter of 5 inches they are substantial pieces.

Quality pieces for any collector.
