Circa 1860, mid Victorian painted, yellow pine cabinet bookcase. With original brass grills to the upper section, surmounted by a simple classical cornice. There are panelled doors with 4 original, adjustable shelves to the upper section, and the lower section is divided in two with one adjustable shelf. The white paint with a hint of grey blue is in perfect condition with a slightly distressed finish. It could be used as a functional kitchen cabinet.
