This mahogany oval ended table with one leaf sits on an impressive pedestal. The top has good graining and colour, the pedestal is inlaid and the toes on the well shaped leg have the original brass caps/castors. The leaf is collared ensuring a continuous matching look around the top. In restored condition this, although being a marriage, is superb looking and would grace any location. Dating from the 19thC is able to squeeze 8 as can be seen in the pictures, six with ample comfort. Most 19thC antique tables are about 29ins tall this one is a little higher.
