A large contemporary, signed artwork by Mervyn Grist - 'The Tree of Life - A Fantastical Scene'. A highly individual style, Mervyn Grist pictures always seem to reflect life in a manner that has been observed through a very different, unconventional lens. This interpretation of the Tree of Life, is an amusing work, highly decorative whilst also been an image that one can enjoy with fresh perspectives almost daily. It is a Gouache/watercolour piece and has the sharpness and depth of colour one would associate with other mediums.

The condition is excellent, we have represented the picture with new matte but the frame is original. It is ready to hang.

Size: the image is 16.5 inches by 19.25 inches the frame is 26.5 inches high by 28 inches wide. Buchanan and Laing Galleries are a private client business. Appointments can be made by arrangement via email.
