Original ceramic figure of a skier in a heavy Art Deco style, beautifully styalised as a man speeding down the slope. The skier is modeled in pottery with a crackle glaze.

The artist / pottery is unknown, it is possibly European. There is a sticker to the base with an artist’s name Alfred Meachin RA, but I can find no record of this artist, so assume it is a red herring.

The figure is 19cm long and stands 17cm high.
Condition

The condition is good. There is a chip to the end of his hat. There are occasional small chips of glaze missing, this is more obvious around the base, but feel that these areas are due to manufacturing rather than lost later.

We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
