Oriental Mother of Pearl Inlaid Jewellery Box
Really Super unusual antique black lacquer antique jewellery box.
Dates to the 1930s.
In the shape of a Grand piano, the lid opens to reveal a blue velvet lined two tier jewellery box.
Also inside is a musical mechanism which winds from a key on the underside.
The tune is a little slow so could be oiled etc, but does play.
Fabulous mother of pearl inlaid mosaic style edging around the top of the piano.
Also a mother of pearl inlaid keyboard.
The three legs do screw off for packaging.
Height closed 4.5ins/12cms Length 91/4ins/13.5cms Width 6ins/15.5cms
It is in its original condition, showing very little wear.
It really is stunning on Display!!
