A large fine quality Chinese Qing Dynasty circular cloisonné box and cover decorated with a yellow bodied dragon pursuing a flaming pearl against a black enamelled background on a copper body. The cover lifts to reveal a blue-turquoise enamelled interior with Chinese characters hand-painted to the inside of the base as well as the cover.

A decorative box but a useful one too, for storing such things as jewellery, stationary items etc.

Dimensions: Diameter 20 x Height 11 cm

Weight 1.28 kg

Condition: Excellent condition without dents or losses to the enamel. Cover fits snugly on the base.
