A lovely stool with upholstered seat, 19th C. This is a very fine example of an old country stool, and would originally have had a rush seat. Made of wood, four well turned legs with turned stretcher, upholstered seat. It is in very good condition with great colour and patina, newly re-upholstered in a Timorous Beasties jute fabric. It would make a lovely dressing stool: it is a good height, and the padded seat makes it surprisingly comfortable.
