A traditional oak monks bench / settle, c1920s.  Made of solid oak, rectangular seat back with geometric design, bench seat with storage beneath, turned armrests and support for turned down top.  These are very versatile pieces of furniture:  hall seat with shoe storage, hall table with storage, television table.  In very good restored condition.
