Oak Mirrored Chest of Drawers C1940 by Vesper Chest of Drawers Vesper Mirror %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Good looking 1940s Modernist 5 drawer chest in a pleasing tone of lighter oak from British maker Vesper. Vesper were from the quality end of the market preferring quality over quantity – this chest bearing the maker's label to the lower rear of the back.
We like the modest lines, the little frameless mirror which tilts, those original oak round shaped knobs and the slim silhouette.

It’s of good proportions with the useful addition of a neat mirror which you could unscrew if you desire. The piece has enjoyed a repolish in our workshop and sits in fine order, a good grain to the oak especially to the top with sensible day to day use - no nasty surprises. As mentioned the chest is neat and tidy and very much ready to place.

Lovely quality and design from a lesser known British maker.
