This is an antique post Edwardian oak leather desk, circa 1920 The desk features a single panel dark brown leather tooled insert on the top, brass swan neck handles, carved drawer beaded fronts, flush external panels terminating in barley twist feet with cross stretchers. The leather is in good condition there is a cup mark on the left hand side of the leather top (10cm in diameter) – this is hardly noticeable (see photo). There are several ink stains in the top central drawer. Nominal old use marks / minor scratches to the leading edges of the desk but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
