Superb quality oak extending drawer leaf dining table c.1930. Parquetry veneered top (on solid oak groundwork) with matching 25″ long leaves extending from each end to make a long table to seat 12 people. On an exceptional base in solid oak with scrolling legs crisply carved with scallop and acanthus leaf detail. Joined with a wrought iron stretcher with decorative pierced brass terminals at each end. Raised on moulded plinths also joined with a matching stretcher at floor level. Attractive pale finish and excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
