A stunning extending oak dining table (circa 1900) of substantial construction with carving to the edge. This table will seat 14 comfortably, having four separate leaves which can be inserted separately secured by brass catches underneath, so that the table can be used at five different lengths. The table is supported by four fantastic barley twist columns and there is a sliding central support, so that there is no impediment to chairs. Dimensions 54” (137cm) long unextended, 24” (61cm) each leaf, making a total overall length of 12½ft (381cm), 45” (114cm) wide, 29” (74cm) high. (Our Stock Code S260)
