Oak Box Settle with Linenfold Panels c.1930.
Unusual early 20th.c. oak box settle or hall seat c.1930. Roll-over top backrest with a chamfered panel and shaped arms with scrolling ends and carved supports. Over a panelled seat with useful storage below for shoes etc. Superb carved linenfold panels to the front and sides of the base. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
