A very stylish art deco oak bureau bookcase dating from circa 1920s-30s. The bookcase top has two glazed doors with leaded “sun ray” design enclosing three adjustable shelves. With fall over 2 drawers standing on carved legs united by side stretchers. The fall front drops down to reveal pigeon holes and a small drawer to the interior. It has a working lock and key to the bookcase. A really good quality bureau, in good condition with beautifully figured solid oak. With makers label to back: “cws cabinet factory production”.
