This vintage needlework picture of Westminster Abbey looks to date from the first half of the twentieth century. It is glazed and framed in an older decorative frame, which looks to date from the nineteenth century. The gilt frame is made from wood and gesso and does have some wear and damage.

Condition: Overall in fair condition with some wear and damage. The needlework has some discolouration and holing and the fabric back is stained, holed and worn with loss. The frame has is overall grubby and has some wear and damage and some areas of cracking and loss. It looks to have been overpainted at some point and the paintwork is dulled. It would benefit from some restoration work.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Needlework - 20cm by 14.5cm
