Neat Sized Pedestal Desk


Circa 1900. A neat sized Edwardian mahogany three-part pedestal desk. The top with blue leather insert which is gilded and tooled, mahogany banding and a simple moulded fore-edge, to the front there is a configuration of one long and two short drawers. Each of the drawers with moulded front, and cast brass swan neck handles. Each of the pedestals has a bank of three graduating drawers with similar handles. Beneath the bottom drawer there is further mouldings and the piece rests on four bracket feet.
