Amusing late 19th.c. genre scene painted a rather naive style in oil on canvas c.1890. A young boy with bare legs and long shirt waits whilst a his grandmother sews up a hole in his britches. Beside him sits a rather strange looking white dog. Signed LeFoch in the lower right hand corner. With a large old repair across the centre of the canvas. Presented unframed on the original wooden stretcher.
