An Early 20th Century Mosanic seated Cat.
Galle style with lovely turquoise glaze and hand painted detail of hearts, circles and fishes. Gorgeous Green glass eyes.
In good original condition. Minor chips to paint on both ears. Slight nibbles to edges of 2 paws.
Height 23cm
Mosanic signature to the base which is from Max Emanuel and company, a glass and porcelain importer and retailer who had a store in London from 1845 to 1914. The firm had a large network of suppliers and many renowned companies sold their items via the shop in London, most notably Loetz glassworks in Bohemia who Max commissioned a large range of products from during this time.
