Monumental & Stunning Couldon Blue And White Vase
A spectacular and monumental floor-standing vase by the Cauldon Factory, England.
This outstanding, goliath-sized vase dates from around the late 19th Century.
It is profusely decorated in rich underglaze blue transfer printing, with marvelous and enchanting scenes including Italianate neoclassical parkland, fine country houses, lakes, watering cattle, castles, fountains, gardens, terraces, conversing figures, moonlit skies, horizons and sailing ships.
A quite superb piece possessing a great sense of detail.
This is a real decorators piece and will make an exceptional and imposing addition / focal point to any interior, standing either on the floor, a hearth or up on a stand.
In superb condition and free from damage.
A rare shape and size from the Couldon factory. Not to be missed!
