This is an attractively figured walnut fruit bowl incorporating some of the natural edge of the tree. It has a bold modern shape, a lovely lustrous waxed finish, is in excellent condition and is probably around 20 years old. Unfortunately, the wood turner as accomplished as he or she clearly was has left no mark on the base. At 12 1/2 inches in diameter it can be used for holding fruit but you may want to leave uncovered so the graining of the wood can be fully enjoyed.
