EXCEPTIONAL RARE ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU MINTON SECESSIONIST OBLONG POTTERY PLANTER WITH SAILING SHIP DESIGN
An extremely rare & exquisite Antique Art Nouveau tube lined Minton Secessionist Oblong Pottery Sailing Ship Design Planter or Jardiniere with twin handles. The planter shows a previously unseen and unrecorded design of a mystical sailing ship and sailor figure amongst highly stylised wave form decoration to both sides.
The rare shape & design, rich glaze in Minton's typical deep blue and green colours and remarkable condition makes this a must have example for the Minton Secessionist collector.
