A gilt framed enamel on copper miniature portrait of King Charles I of England (1600-1649), circa 1900. It's a beautiful depiction of the monarch after the portrait by Sir Anthony van Dyck (1635-1699). It is painted on a convex surface.

Condition: Very good antique condition with no damage to the enamel or frame. please note that there are reflections from both the studio lamps and overhead fluorescent tubes.
