A superb antique military campaign style chest of drawers with a built in secretaire bureau. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is absolutely amazing, this is a very smart and very useful item. The top drawer slides out and pulls down to reveal a leather top writing surface with pigeon holes and four internal drawers. The lower section has lots of storage space, all the drawers are solid oak lined, with fine hand cut dovetailed joints. There are beautiful brass fixtures throughout, and this comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.

We have just had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There is just some very minor wear and a few marks remaining here and there beneath the polish.
