Mid Victorian brass bound mahogany or walnut coopered bucket of generous size. The bucket is all original with three wide brass bands with copper rivets at the joints. There is slight looseness but nothing serious. Would be ideal for logs at the side of the fire or stove. The bucket is a nice colour with pleasing patination, the brass has been cleaned but not over-cleaned.
