Mid Century Pitcher by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand
Mid Century Pitcher Vase by Gunnar Nylund
This small but perfectly formed jug was created by artist Gunnar Nylund in the 1940s or 50s. It looks modern now with its earthy colours and abstract design, but is a true vintage mid century modern artwork. Nylund's work has become very collectable and would be a great addition to a specialist ceramic collection, or simply as a beautiful item for your home.
Nylund was the artistic leader for the Rörstrand factory in Sweden in the 1940s and 50s, and is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
This vase is known as the AST model and was made in a variety of sizes. This lovely green brown example is 18cm tall and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or marks.
Dimensions:
Height 18cm, Width 6.5cm, Depth 5cm Please get in touch for further details on any item, including additional photographs or video. You are welcome to view any item by appointment.
Payment via bank transfer, PayPal or cash is welcomed.
