Beautiful mid 19th.c. chaise longue or daybed c.1860. The left hand end with a padded spoonback and long arm extending along the back edge. Over a sprung seat (height 18″) with rounded ends. All recently upholstered in a gold chenille brocade fabric with a raised pattern and a 7″ long rope twist braid around the base. Raised on turned and ebonised legs with the original wooden castors. Excellent condition, very comfortable with clean covers.
