Circa 1870 with alterations. Mid-Victorian burr walnut two section open bookcase. Surmounted by a moulded and stepped cornice with ebony banding and a burr walnut frieze, the two open bookcase sections (wider on the right side) each with 4 adjustable shelves flanked by rounded ebonized corners over an enclosed plinth base.
