This is a mid-size antique tilt top table. A circular, Georgian oak tea table dating to c.1760.

Spectacular grain interest in the oak, five plank top
Wisps of medullary rays shine through the deep wax finish
Desirable aged patina and good consistent colour
Raised on a stout, turned baluster column
Brass catch locking down the tilt top to a steady platform
A tripod of ridged, cabriole legs splay out to spade feet
