Mid-18thC George II Provincial Oak Side Table
The good quality English oak carcass, of superior colour, having an unusual semi-elliptical shaped two-piece boarded top over a frieze cockbeaded and featherbanded drawer with the original pierced brass plate handle to square block legs, and surviving from the George II period.
The condition is good. The one-piece top has a extremely fine and desirable patination and a deep rich colour with some slight bowing. It is stable and ready for use.
