Metamorphic Music Table
A very rare and unusual Georgian metamorphic music table.
Up to 4 musicians can read there music and play at this table
The quality of this table is very good and is in excellent condition.
Mahogany decorated with musical instruments and swags of flowers .
As you will see in the pictures it looks like a small side table with a drawer.Opened up is where the magic is.
The top lifts in 2 halves and there adjustable supports holding each side in position a slide pulls out on one side and drawer on the other both have lift up reading slops which are adjustable.
This table is very rare I had a similar one about 30 years ago and not seen one since.
Circa 1760/80.
