A superb 19th century Chinese plant stands or lamp tables, beautifully crafted in solid hardwood in excellent antique condition. The top features a petal-shaped top with a finely carved beaded edge, inset with beautifully variegated pink marble inserts that echo the organic form of the design. Beneath the top, the shaped apron is enriched with a deeply carved foliated frieze on all sides, showcasing exceptional carving skill and lively decorative rhythm. Raised on four shapely leg with faces at the top leading down to claw and ball feet united by an interlocking cross stretcher. With its rich colour, graceful form, and refined ornamentation, this versatile piece offer striking character and timeless elegance, whether used as accent tables, display stands, or statement pieces in any interior.
