Good quality mahogany Maples & Co. of London Arts and Crafts library drum table. The figured mahogany top having an inset hand dyed leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The frieze having applied mouldings and 2 opposing drawers which retain the original brass handles and Hobbs & Co working locks with keys. The table is supported on 4 square and reeded columns joined by an “X” frame and moulded cross stretcher with turned centre and raised on out swept legs reeded legs and unusual quality brass casters. Condition- fine. Dimensions:- Height…29.5’’/ 75cm. Width & Diameter…36’’/ 91.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
