A superb mammoth sized library magnifying lens on stand. Dating to the early 20th century. A very deep and strong magnifying lens measuring 9" diameter with the frame 10" diameter. Solid brass frame with the original black painted finish and nickel plated fittings. One round nut is missing on one foot. (see pics). Does not affect the piece at all. Very heavy and sturdy weighing nearly 10kg. A superb desk piece. 12 3/8" x wide x 8 1/2" deep. We always strive to source the best quality and original items for our clients.
