A great quality mahogany large 18th century design open Gainsborough armchair of generous proportions having a raised shaped back with everted carved scroll arms. The shaped cabriole legs headed by carved shell detail and carved pad feet. Excellent condition.£3495. The price includes the chair to be traditionally upholstered. Measures 40"h x 28"w x 28"d ( seat 23"w x 21"d x 16"h). C.1880. Viewing by appointment only.
