Lovely little early 19th.c. mahogahy pembroke work table c.1820. Well figured solid mahogany top with two folding leaves supported on hinged loafers. Over a single drawer and a deep pull-out a work basket below. Drawer front, turned knobs, mouldings and basket pleats all repeated on the rear of the table. Raised on a crossbanded curving yoke and short turned column on swept and reeded legs with turned bun feet with neat little brass castors recessed below. Repairs to the rear legs, otherwise excellent condition and good mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
