Mahogany George III Corner Washstand (c.1800)
Here is a very good quality antique mahogany inlaid bow front corner washstand, circa 1800.

Here is a very good quality antique mahogany inlaid bow front corner washstand, circa 1800. The piece is constructed of solid mahogany and is finely inlaid with satinwood string inlay. The washstand features two levels with a central drawer on the bottom level and a sham drawer either side. The top has been adapted to a solid piece some time ago. It would have originally housed a porcelain bowl. The adapted top piece is removable if required (see photos). The washstand sits on pretty splayed legs. This is an ideal decorative corner piece in any room.
The item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room or hall way. The table would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

This washstand is in excellent condition. The top has been adapted to a solid piece some time ago. It would have originally housed a porcelain bowl. The adapted top piece is removable if required (see photos). There are no breaks or damage to the legs. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is not required to cover the cost of returning the item if the item is returned at the point of delivery. If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (which is the same cost as the delivery fee). We only will collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We will not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
International Buyers
